Do not worry, I'm not an emo guy or something like that. The black screen is purely eco-friendly. Now most of you will think how can such a black thing be eco friendly, well the thing is in energy, if the screen will hae brighter colours it will eat more power and so you will pay bigger electricity bills. As the screen goes darker the bills go down. I know this from a study that asked google to make theyr screen black so there will be an economy of over 1 bilion dolars in the whole word because of the intensity of the google users.
So it is not a goth thing, and emo thing or something like it, it is just pure economics. Best wishes
